An exciting opportunity has arisen as Sr. Subsea Engineer within Well Access Systems in our 4Subsea Astori team in Sandnes. Filling this role, you will be working within the well access department to support our P&A, Workover and Intervention projects. Where work tasks range from development via engineering and planning to execution.

Responsibilities and Work tasks

Key responsibilities:

• Manage the well access systems scop for delivery of the Company’s subsea delivery projects.

• Support Company’s activities across the project teams (operation/non-operation) of subsea control systems

• Project lead position

• Responsible for modes of operation on completion & XT operations.

• Responsible for well integrity and barrier management in subsea projects

• Responsible for planning and performance of projects.

Work Tasks:

• Participate in engineering, development, production, testing and operation of systems

• Establish and manage subsea communication systems with supplier equipment.

• Ensure follow-up of HSE and QMS.

• Provide input on system layout and interface decisions.

• Support assembly and testing hardware to validate functionality and performance.

• Participate and advice in Product development

• Participate in quotation and bid work for subsea projects

• Participate in project follow-up, ensuring timely and quality delivery all deliverables

• Prepare and maintain documentation packages related to operation and system deliveries.

• Conduct testing and verification as part of both product development and project execution.

Additional Activities:

• Support base operations and internal projects.

• Take part in periodic offshore assignments when required.

• Be an Advisor for companies' external customers

Requirements

• Min 8 years professional experience

• BSc/MSc degree – preferably from Marine- and Subsea Technology

• Offshore Operations & Site experience.

• Equipment Hands-on experience.
