Our unique subsea monitoring technology is being adopted widely across the industry and our sensor development and production team in Kristiansand is growing. Hence we are now looking for an experienced Department Manager to head our Subsea Integrity Monitoring Department and manage our sensor product portfolio. Responsibilities

• Be a team leader for the sensor development and production department comprising of electronic hardware design, embedded software, mechanical design and sensor production
• Manage the sensor product portfolio and be responsible for the long-term product development plans
• Ensure balanced resource allocation between long term development needs and short-term project requirements
• Maintain and develop working processes to ensure quality in all aspects of the operation from electronics design through software development, mechanical design, product qualification testing and production and testing before delivery.
• In line with our company values you will lead, mentor, and develop the multidisciplinary team of the department, focusing on employee satisfaction while continuing to develop and deliver leading edge sensor technology

Requirements

• Experience from leading multidisciplinary teams of specialists within electronics and software
• Experience from mechatronics including development of electronic hardware and embedded software
• Experience with sensor technology and subsea monitoring within the energy sector is a benefit but not a requirement
• Relevant Master’s degree and/or a proven track record from similar roles
• Fluent in English.
• Some travel will be required
